Paul Wood has invited registered electors of the City of Greeley to stop by his house tomorrow, February 7, to sign the petitions. On his Facebook page he said “Today I will begin collecting signatures to require the City to place large water purchases or sales in your hands. It’s our water, it’s our future generations, it should be our vote. Tomorrow I will be at my home all day. If you would like to drop by and sign the petition please feel free to do so. I saw in the paper that it will be approved next month? Maybe I read it wrong. I’m going help anyway. Will this still get on the ballot??

A special election is set for around August 3, regardless of what the City Council does. I will publish the text of the petitions sometime today.
